NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences
Lisette Hoeke works as a project coordinator and researcher in bicycle related projects for the NHTV. At the NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences she is part of the research group Urban Intelligence. They develop and use innovative products, tools and techniques to translate data into valuable information for policy makers and spatial planners. With this knowledge and information, they support the decision-making process and help to design and develop the best solutions for mobility challenges.
Lisette has studied Built Environment at the Eindhoven University of Technology and finished the master Design and Decision Support Systems. After her studies, Lisette did different projects focusing on the use of (electrical) bicycles and behavioural change studies to stimulate car users to use a different transport mode. She is interested in the interaction between a user (cyclist) and his environment (cycle infrastructure), in what way can we influence the behaviour of a user by the design of our infrastructure and how can we use (empirical) data for it.
