Biography
Graham is an engineer with over 45-years’ experience of road transport operations covering cars, vans, trucks and buses. He is a member of council at the Association of European Transport.
Graham initially qualified as an engineer but he has also held general management roles within transport organisations, he is a crash investigator and sits on the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators national council and is a member of the UK Parliamentary Advisory Council on Transport Safety (PACTS) where he sits on the vehicle design working group.
He is a technical journalist regularly writing blogs for both European Transport and Global Rail Review websites. He is an advisory group member of two current Horizon 2020 European transport projects, namely CITYLAB and ALLIANCE. CITYLAB is exploring living lab pilot projects in sustainable city logistics across a number of European cities and ALLIANCE is designed to enable the stimulation and strengthening of scientific and technological capacity of Latvia and the raising the profile of the research staff and their institution, by providing knowledge in the field of smart interconnecting sustainable transport networks.
